Drummer Key Club Poster featuring illustration of a handcuffed leatherman by Randy West. In 1980, John Embry, the publisher of Drummer, decided to open the Drummer Key Club, on the corners of 11th and Folsom Streets. Modeled after Hugh Heffner’s Playboy Club, only for South-of-Market types. Hefner had Playboy Bunnies, and Embry had Mr. Drummer contestants for centerfolds. The Drummer Key Club closed in 1982. Currently the bar is Oasis Nightclub. Measures 15 x 21 inches.
