SAN FRANCISCO FRONTIERS NEWSMAGAZINE. Vol. 13, Issue 07, August 4, 1994. Frontiers Magazine, was Southern California’s oldest and largest LGBT magazine during its run from 1981-2016. The bi-weekly publication was freely distributed throughout Southern California and focused on news and entertainment regarding the LGBT community. A large, massive left-stapled newsprint magazine containing 56 pages including the Classifieds section and front and rear covers. Highlights include features on adult film star and model Steve Kelso, an interview with Erasure, drag queen Charles Busch, HIV Panic, Jesse Helm’s Anti-Gay Amendments.
