About this product

Toxic Grafity no. 5 Magazine. 1979 Measures 29.7 x 21.0 cm. 42 pages. Published by Mike Diboll, who was active in the early UK anarcho-punk scene. Each issue carried a different misspelling of graffiti. The magazine featured collages, essays on anarchy, tirades against state repression, and music. TG #5 was printed and distributed by Better Badges and was one of the first fanzines to include a free flexi disc – “Rival Tribal Rebel Revel” by Crass. The band simultaneously released the track as a limited edition 7″ single which was given to record shops that were selling the fanzine so they could play it on request to potential buyers. The lyrics are printed inside the zine along with a few others by the likes of Poison Girls and Annie Anxiety. There are also three pages devoted to Throbbing Gristle.
