VILE – International Double Issue No 2 & 3 – Published 1976. Originally envisioned as a place to document and acknowledge network activity, VILE was a combination of art, poetry, fiction, letters, photos, mail art and manipulated advertisements. It was predominantly a visual publication, engaging critically with the inundation of mediated pictures that come out of the organs of mass communication. Features works by dozens of luminaries, including Cosey Fanni Tutti, Anna Banana, General Idea, Robert Filliou, William Burroughs, Joseph Beuys, Genesis P.
